I established Novel Solutions after completing a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing in 2015. By the time I'd finished my diploma, I'd been working with a small press editing speculative fiction for almost a year. In this short time, I have edited many novels, books, diaries and cards either at a copy edit level, structurally, or have proofread, and have worked with both new and experienced authors. I also work with publishers on a variety of fiction and non-fiction projects.
Fiction editing projects have included novels and short stories in the genres of general fiction, sci fi, fantasy, paranormal and horror for adult, middle-grade and young adult readers. Non-fiction editing projects have included advertisements, self-help books and cards, autobiographies, marketing materials and student essays. I can also help you create a knock-out blurb that will grab a reader’s interest.
My written work ranges from academic writing to real estate copy, and includes fiction, non-fiction articles, research projects and book reviews. Samples of my writing can be seen in my portfolio.
I also run writers retreats for new and established writers.
I have edited work for new and award-winning authors and, to date, I have received a highly commended award for one of my short stories.

Qualifications, training and participation at industry-specific events
Staying aware of industry trends is important in any industry and I maintain my professional development by attending short courses, conferences and either writing- or editing-related events in Victoria or interstate.
